Sunny Days

Here is a card I made for someone very special in mind... :)

My boyfriend asked me to make a card for his daughters birthday and I knew I had to break out my Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. I stayed in the color family of Bold Brights since she just turned 7.

In order to get the fluffy clouds, I punched out the scallop circle punch out of scrap paper and used the negative space to then sponge in the clouds. I randomly moved around the page and just played with the ink. I love the look it created!!! The grass was created using paper snips and the butterflys were also cut out using paper snips. To finish the card off I used my paper piercer and mats to free hand some holes to indicate their flight path. A simple happy birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes finishes this card off.

I have to say... this might be my favorite card that I've made in a long time! Might have to make some more! :)

Stamp Set: Flight of the Butterfly, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Whisper White Craft Ink, Tempting Turquoise, Glorious Green
Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise,
Accessories: Paper Snips, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Scallop punch, sponges, Paper Piercer, Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive
