Meet Joe

First I have to say, sorry for the bad pic.... hopefully I will figure out how to take better pics of my scrapbook pages...

Well this is a scrapbook page I did of my youngest nephew Joe. He is the most content baby I have ever seen. I just loved these pics my sister in law took of him! He just looks so chill and calm... Just like always!

This paper is actually retired (tear... I love my Baja Breeze and Parisian Breeze DSP) but there are some great elements on this page that are still available!!!!

I wanted the pictures to be the main focus of this page so I kept most of the elements very simple. I covered the On-Board Lots Of Letters with Baja Breeze paper (you can cover this chipboard to match any project by covering it with paper, craft ink or even.... glitter!!!). To make the letters stand out a little more, I inked the edges with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink. To get in the smaller sections, I dipped my blender pen in the ink and colored ever so carefully along the edge...

Next I took a piece of textured Baja Breeze paper and trimmed it down to a size that looked right. I then scalloped the bottom with the Scallop Punch (love that thing!) and inked the edges... I adhered the two pictures on the left and right down and then popped the center image up and on an angle using Pop-Up Glue Dots. Before adhering everything down, I decided the page needed something down at the bottom to draw the eye around... Now is when I went searching through my embellishments.... Luckily I had the Kraft Corduroy Buttons and sticked with the rule of three on these. I think these were the perfect touch. I then adhered everything and tada! This would have been a super fast (under 30 min) page if I had only decided to cover the chipboard with ink instead of paper.... Next time.... hehe
